Text Box:   Text Box: Christopher M. Meisenhelter Professor Chris Meisenhelter is an Associate Professor of Management and the coordinator of Management Programs for York College’s Department of Business Administration. He has been teaching operations management for 18 years. Prior to coming to York College, Chris was director of operations for a division of Litton Industries. Chris holds a BS in management from YCP, MBA and MS degrees from the University of Baltimore and completed doctoral coursework at Penn State University. Chris has a long record of service to the YCP community. He has chaired the Budget Committee for a number of years, and is a past President of the Academic Senate. Chris was also chosen as the commencement speaker in 1998. He was honored as a Sam Walton Fellow and is a faculty advisor for Students In Free Enterprise (SIFE). In the two years York has participated in SIFE, the student  teams were invited to attend the national event. The 2005 team won the regional competition while the 2004 team was awarded national “Rookie of the Year” honors. Outside of work, Chris enjoys working on home improvement projects with his wife Mary and hanging out with his nine grandchildren. (Fun Fact: Chris has a HUGE collection of Cal Ripken and Baltimore Orioles baseball memorabilia.)
