Engineering Physics: Electricity & Magnetism

 

This course introduces the student to the topics of static electricity, electric fields, Gauss' Law, electric potential, capacitance, resistance, current, voltage, magnetic fields, Ampere's Law, Faraday's Law, and inductance. This course is structured with integrated lecture/laboratory sessions supplemented with one recitation session each week.

Prerequisites: PHY160.

Credit Hours: 5
Lecture Hours: 4
Laboratory Hours: 3.  Satisfies ADR III
