Meisenhelter I am an Associate Professor of Management & Organization at York College, where I've been teaching full time since 1985.  I teach courses in Human Resource Management, Organization Theory and Business Government & Society at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.  I am also Chair of the Department of Business Administration department, and have held that post since 1995.  My educational background is as follows: B.S. in Psychology from York College of PA M.S. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Baltimore MBA from the University of Baltimore Ph.D. In Business & Public Management from the George Washington University             Major: Organization & Management             Minors: Human Resource Management                         Public Policy Prior to academia, my career experience was primarily in human resource management.  I was Director of Personnel for Green's Dairy, and at the The Susquehanna Pfaltzgraff Co. I was the Safety Services Manager and then and Employee Relations Manager.  For the last seven years, I've maintained an active consulting practice.  My main work focuses on organizational analysis and assessment, and organizational change. I was a founding board member of the York Non Profit Management Development Center (now named the Center for Community Engagement) and currently serve on the boards of Olivia’s House (grief center for children) and the Women’s Health Center of York (Well Women at Wellspan). In terms of research, I write and give presentations in two areas: organization development & change, and management education.  I also serve as a manuscript reviewer for the Academy of Management, The Southern Academy of Management, the Journal of Management Education, the Academy of Business Education Journal and the Journal of Behavioral and Applied Management.  I earned “Outstanding Reviewer” awards from the Academy of Management (MED Division) in 2000, 2004, 2005 and 2006. I am active in the following professional organizations: ·          Academy of Management (currently serve on the Executive Board for the Management Education Division) ·          Academy of Business Education ·          Association of Collegiate Business Schools & Programs (ACBSP) ·          Eastern Academy of Management ·          Institute for Behavioral and Applied Management ·          Mid Atlantic Organizational Behavior Teaching Society ·          Organizational Behavior Teaching Society
