60thBirthday/BirthdayCake.jpgListeningToInterview.jpg
Welcome, and a warm thanks to all of you who attended and made my 60th birthday a memorable  celebration.

I received almost 100 E-mail birthday wishes from those of you who were not able to attend due to  distance, work requirements or the few of you who didn't check your mail until after April 8th. Actually, I am still getting birthday wishes as of Monday morning.  Thank you all very much for all of the cards, e-mail wishes and gifts, and especially your presence and letters.

Television Producer, Steve Trauger,
who lives in Ocean City, Maryland
sent a professionally produced
video birthday wish.

Please check it out on this link.

For those of you who were not able to attend, after singing, cutting the cake and eating,
(Yes, thanks to the WVYC staff, the cake was decimated),
I was interviewed live on the radio with listeners from all over the country.
My mom was listening to our broadcast on the Internet from New Orleans, LA.
and called shortly after the interview to wish a happy birthday.

A special thanks to the WVYC and YCP alumni who drove to the campus for the celebration.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Drew for all his work in preparing and sending out hundreds of announcements.  Not only that, along with John Sterling and Gerry Regensburg, I was treated to a restaurant birthday dinner.

Thanks Drew

A special thanks to the WVYC staff for all of their help and also for making sure all of the food was eaten.
Thanks also to Chartwells for the decorated cake and to Brian Furio, for paying for everything.

Michelle was worried I would drop the cake while holding it for the picture.
