| Two places where I worked several years ago are Fleet Technologies and
St. Andrew Development. They pride themselves in applying state of the
art technologies and software development methodologies. The engineering
Decision Support Systems (DSS) and the multimedia systems that I worked
on all benefit from these techniques. Not only did I get the opportunity
to practice, but I also taught a lot about practice.
Fleet's Compressor Series DSS is one of several engineering systems that have resulted in increased sales for their customers and satisfaction for the sales representatives that use it. At St. Andrew Development, I got the opportunity to work on multimedia systems, particularly kiosks used for informing people about cancer, soliciting donations, and selling automobiles.
